Here is a Power Point on how to utilize Learn Zillion. This website aligns Common Core Standards for ELA and Math with video lessons. Many of these video lessons incorporate guided practice as well as independent work. It is a great way to "flip" a lesson, have students view a series of lessons outside of class, then discuss, and practice the skills in small groups within class time.
Khan Academy is an online collection of videos, lessons, and even has teaching and academic coaching capabilities. This video will walk you through the major functions of this website. It is primarily centered on math and science, but has branched out to computer science and the humanities as well. A very good website. All of the videos are through Youtube.com, so embedding these videos onto your LMS is very easy. On Youtube.com, you just click the "Share" button below the video and copy the Embed code, pasting it in the appropriate area, just like you did with LearnZillion and Educreations.
